Rick & Gail Ritter
We have resided in Guthrie, OK with our family for 35 years. We are blessed with 3 children and one grandchild. Rick has lived in Guthrie all of his life and graduated from Guthrie High School before attending Southwestern Bible University in Waxahachie, TX where he met his wife Gail. We have been in ministry for over 30 years serving and supporting churches. For the last 5 years we have co-founded The Gathering.
Vision
We have co-founded The Gathering answering a call to bring healing, wholeness through the Word and unity to the Body of Christ. Our desire is to be Representatives of Christ fulfilling the Great Commission with signs, wonders and miracles following bringing the Captive Bride out of deceptions and soul captivities and revealing to the lost the Goodness of God unto salvation.
Mission
We believe God has called us for a Gathering of God's people. The Lord said to prepare a place for Him where He could come, sit and rest among us; to prepare for Him a dwelling place among His Bride.
The Gathering is a revival hub where ministers and servants of the Lord gather in His Habitation to be refreshed, be divinely connected to His remnant bride, be transformed and equipped by the Lord Himself for the assignments He is calling you to in this season. It is a place of safety where complete strangers come together in the presence of Heaven and walk away transformed by the Lord, receiving revelation and seed that will burst forth into a fruitful harvest in your personal life and ministry.
The Gathering is an Apostolic Prayer Hub that has a governmental mandate to pray with national and global perspectives in decreeing and declaring the plans of God to change a region. Praying with authority through the revelation of God and gathering the army of God to challenge and pull down the strongholds of the enemy, breaking the resistance that is holding captives by the power of darkness. We invade and take new territories and breakthrough into the spirit realm, bringing down and establishing the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth through prayer strategies and the Word of God.
It is a 'boots on the ground' evangelistic ministry fulfilling the Great Commission with signs, wonders and miracles rallying harvesters to take their regions for Christ and reap a harvest of souls into the Kingdom establishing the Kingdom of Heaven within societies, transforming the culture of regions, and displaying the Goodness of God as His Representatives in both word and action.

Are we a Church ?
Are we a Church ?
No, we are not a traditional church. We are, however, a gathering of believers of Jesus Christ, called out under the authority of our Father to establish His Kingdom here on Earth. We are a prototype, unique in following the Holy Spirit in loving Worship, intercessory prophetic Prayer, and gathering with the remnant Bride; obeying the Word through Discipleship in the edification and building up fellow believers. We are establishing a revival hub where ministry and laity can be restored, refueled, and retooled in the abiding presence of the Lord. We are attentive to current words of prophesies and revelations that speak to these times, by the power of the Holy Spirit unifying the Gathering in one accord. We are fulfilling the Great Commission in Missionary endeavors to win the lost, heal the sick, and set the captive free.

While we believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ, and the rapture of the church prior to the Great Tribulation, our great hope is spoken by Jesus himself in Matt 24 :14, (TPT), where it says, "Yet through it all, the good news of Heaven's Kingdom will be proclaimed all over the world, providing every nation with the demonstration of the reality of God. And after that, the end of this age will arrive." We believe we are in the next wave of a billion soul harvest and are praying for harvesters to bring in the lost through signs, wonders and miracles to prove to a misdirected generation the reality and truth of God.

Jesus Christ and His sacrificial death on the Cross is the only way to receive eternal salvation with God the Father. God is eternal, creator of all things, and has made the way of salvation through the shed blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. And has established continual contact through communication with the Holy Spirit. Acts 4:12, John 14:6
